A truly premium mould, ASM’s Shirinsky Shikhmatov slug mould is a modern take on a classic Russian design. This mould casts tri-segmented slugs engineered to achieve massive expansion and fragmentation on impact– making them ideal for hunting large or dangerous game.

Shirinsky Shikhmatov slugs are similar in construction to a hollow point bullet, however prior to loading the user affixes them to a special Gualandi-style gas seal wad which acts as a stabilizer during flight, or conventional wads with the petals trimmed away. Like all ASM moulds, the Shirinksy Shikhmatov includes a set of premium turned wood handles at no additional cost.
