Description

A truly premium mould, ASM’s Kontarev 3 casts a highly-accurate, hollow-based slug suitable for target and hunting purposes.  This mould includes two pins; one for a large hollow base, and one for use with Russian stabilizer slug wads.

Similar to the Lyman-style sabot slugs, these are a hollow-based design featuring three bands to reduce bearing surface and resultant friction. These slugs can be loaded using standard Gualandi-style gas-seal wads, conventional wads with the petals trimmed away, or Russian stabilizer slug wads.  Like all ASM moulds, the Kontarev 3 includes a set of premium turned wood handles at no additional cost.

With machining and finish far superior to any other slug mould manufacturer on the market, ASM moulds set the standard for what a premium mould should be.
